An Altered Journey Class

So we had a fabulous time with the little book full of distressed fun. Everyone (I think) had a great time doing using Tim Holtz distress inks and distress embossing powders. The book that they created looked AMAZING. Some of the students used their own creativity and made the book unique to them. All in All we had fun. I don't usually teach classes at my store - so it was fun for me and I learned some things about teaching and prep work as well.
Our May event: Garage Sale and Demonstrations! It will be happening the day before Mother's Day on a Saturday. We will publish the particulars on the website and on the blog as well as sending out emails. So keep an eye out for all the details.

We now have everything in from the CHA show. Including the most wonderful sparkly fluff flocking that we have ever used. We are really thrilled with it. So here's what's in.
7 Gypsies products
ALL of the new Stampendous monkees in wood mounted and the NEW cling mounted
AND lots of new class appeals - those wonderful little (or big) stickers from STampendous - some of them are the new luscious velvet!
Hannah stamps - with the very cute/very famous RILEY!
Brand new My Favorite Things stamps featuring FLOPSEY the rabbit - sooooooo cute
New Graphic 45 collections.
I also have ALL of your Soldering needs for making those beautiful soldered jewelry charms. Including the complete soldering kits.
New Core d'inations paper called Whitewash. - we have every color
All the Tim Holtz idealogy doo dads and grunge board!
Hero Arts new clear design stamps INCLUDING ALL THE ASIAN DOLL SERIES! (these are really hot right now - can't hardly keep them in the store) AND THE OWLS - Hero has the cutest owls I've ever seen.
Of course lots and lots of yummy cupcakes which look wonderful with the new flocking we have
And finally - the used bin is overflowing with stamps that have been gently used - lots of good bargains for you.
Our class schedules will be published on the website tonight for April May and June - so be sure to check it out. Sign up early - classes have been filling up quickly.

As for fiber arts - I've been working on my guest room throw with "Anne" yarn and my einstein coat and my teddy bears. It's taking way too long to get these done - I just picked up some delicious mountain colors yarns and I CAN'T WAIT TO GET TO THAT! So nice - so soft - and soooooooo calling my name to work it up.
Gotta go...........
till next time
